Interested in international education cooperation? We're looking for University of Tokyo students who want to build something real, together with South African students.
Members take part across our two core activities: running pilot lessons, developing teaching materials, and talking directly with teachers on the ground (see Our Activity); and building partnerships with South African universities and student organizations, including on-the-ground visits and Japan–South Africa exchange events. Members also take on roles across outreach, fundraising, curriculum design, and project management — you don't need prior experience in international cooperation or education to get involved.
Work directly with South African university students as equal partners — developing programs, visiting the field, and seeing the results of your work with children on the ground.
Our on-the-ground trips are planned to run under the University of Tokyo's official "Experiential Activity Program," which subsidizes part of participants' travel and accommodation costs.
